chapters 28-31
Huck is starting to relize that what society says is the right thing might not really be the right thing. These chapters show that Huxk is starting to change as a character. Huck doesn't care about what the traditional "right" thing is anymore he just cares about Jim and not losing him. In this way Jim has become Hucks family. I also think this amount of care shows how mature hes growing to be. He's not quite an adult yet, but he has learned to care about another person other rhan himself. He has also how to be honest and how to separate the right thing from whats socially accepted which shows he has grown a lot since the beginning of the book.
