The founders of the fast food industry were initially motivated by advancements and improvements in the economy and society. Anything that was new and fast made money which everyone wanted. As more and more people realized what made money, competition in this industry became huge. The fast food industry was created on hard work, and solid companies, but unfortunately as it has become more popular, greed has become the main of theme of fast food industries, and hard work has been traded for cheap replacements and machines all because of competition to make money.
I agree the push to make more money has moved the focus away from hard work and into low wages and machine replacements. Wouldn't you say that advancing society today would bring in more and more machine replacements, whether or not the push for money was important.
