Fast Food Nation: Chapter 3

I think people who are unable to communicate effictevly with a lot of different people at one time should not be allowed behind the counter at fast food restaurants. Talking to people is extremly important at fast food restaurants and people who cannot talk to a lot of people will be bad for that restaurants business. Also, anyone who cannot stand for a long period of time should not be allowed behind the counter. Fast food workers should be friendly and welcoming people who will benifit the business and attract customers. I do not ind having my food served to me by people other than myself.

  1. I think you’re right that workers behind the counter should be able to effectively communicate with customers, thus making money for the restaurant’s corporation. In the end, it all comes down to money and who can do a single job the cheapest.
