To me, the most disturbing part of the slaughterhouses were how horrible the working conditions were for employees. It is a serious issue when a person goes to work every single day with the risk of becoming ill, and especially since the employers were fully aware of what was going on. In order to improve this, the obvious solution would be to improve working conditions, but also making laws and punishment for any workplace that treats their workers in this manner, especially putting them at risk.
