I think that further industrialization of the meat industry will result in a lack of variety. The entire industry will be geared towards the making of a specific type of beef or chicken. This will hurt the ranchers as they will have less and less of a choice of what to raise. It will help the big industry because they will be able to choose favorites to buy from. Any further industrialization will only hurt the entire meatpacking industry.
