       If the meat and poultry industry continues to industrialize, the effects will be drastic. For one, the little quality that remains in the product will be sacrificed for more efficient and profitable procedures. Not only will this effect the food we eat, but it will also lead to more food born diseases. Second, the few farmers and ranchers that still supply the meat industry with animals will be cut from the pay role; costing hundreds nationwide their jobs.
