The IBP revolution cut corners in the process of meat packing,causing other meat packing companies to follow suit in order to keep up in the industry. This has made the process 'easier' and 'cheaper', but has caused the workers to sacrifice their life and well being.
Overall the IBP revolution showed a huge short cut in the industry whether that be jobs, quality, and money.
