Huckleberry finn chp. 12-15
As the book goes on the reader can see a bond forming between Huck and Jim. When Huck apologizes for lieing to Jim they share kind of a tender moment where it's relized that they care for each other. Jim seems to be the first person in the book that Huck really cares for. It also seems to be the first time in the book he hasn't wanted to runaway from his lifestyle or the people in it. Jim is starting to take on a fatherly role in Hucks life he is also becoming the most important person in Hucks life especialy since Huck doesn't have a whole lot of impotant people in his life.

Yes, it seems a bond has formed between the two. But it seemed for the longest time that Huck was thinking of turning in Jim because it seemed like the 'right' thing to do.
