Huckleberry Finn ch 23-27

In these chapters we see more evidence that the king and the duke are using Huck and Jim. They use their raft to go down the river and cheat towns out of their money. When Huck steals the money from the king and the duke he shows that he is beginning to act on his morals and what he thinks is right. He intends to hide the money and then leave a note so the girls can find it later. This shows that Huck is growing up and trying to do the right thing. Huck is starting to feel uncomfortable with the king and the duke and they are starting to become more angry at Huck. I think that Huck and Jim will take the raft one night and just leave the king and the duke behind.
