Huckleberry Finn ch 19-22
In these chapters Huck and Jim meet two new characters who say that they are really royalty. While Huck doesn't beliee them he does what they ask to preserve the good intentions and friendliness on the raft. The "fake" runaway slave bill the duke printed hints towards his intentions to steal Jim and sell him for money. Sherburn's speech was possibly a reference by Twain to how most men do things that are not normal for them when under peer pressure. This relates to Huck because he normally does what he doesn't believe to feel like he is part of the group or gang. It will probably affect Huck in the future when he has to make a decision for himself or just do what everyone tells him to.
