Fast Food Nation: Chapter 8
The most disturbing aspect of the animal slaughterhouses to me is the cruel treatment of the animals involved. I have always had a soft spot for animals and knowing that they are hung by hooks without being fully put down seems morbid and inhumane to me. I think a way that this process could be resolved would be by putting animals down in a fast an efficient way, instead of allowing the process to be done without care.

I agree that the animals should be treated with more care, how do you think they could be put down in a faster, more humane way?
