Fast Food Nation: Chapter 6

I believe the further industralization in meat processing will have a negative impact on the quality of food. The reasons are that any further industralizaion in the meat process will be focused soley on efficiently using all the meat and making the most for their dollar. The quality of the meat today is already a very low grade and it will only probably get worse as the corporate powers continue to view meat solely as profit and not as nourishing food for human consumption. As the industrialization of meat continues to increase, the ranchers will fare even worse being undercut by the low prices.

  1. I agree that they will strive to do nothing but to make the most of their dollar. And I think that nothing good will grow from this and that it will eventually backfire.
