For me the most disturbing thing about the slaughter houses is how inhumane they are for the workers. The working conditions are not only dirty and poor but incredibly dangerous. The workers are constantly sick, at risk of death because of their job, and the emplyers do not think twice about it. Laws forcing companies to create healthier and safer working conditions need to be issued and heavily enforced because a person's health and life is much more important than the companies' profits esspecially since most of the companies have profits to spare.

Good point, I think it's just sad that the companies advertise directly to immigrants, knowing they will not join a union or anything that would cause the company to reform.
