chp. 10 Fast food nation

McDonalds is a good example of modernization in America, especialy in the food industry, but I would not say it represents America. There are so many more positive examples of modernization that could be used to represent Modern day America. McDonalds did revolutionize the food industry when it first came out but it has not made any steps foward since then, unless you count the steps towards nation wide obesity. Since McDonalds has not made any positive progress since it was established it is a poor representation of America which has made plenty of positive progress towards the future.
