In this section of the book you can really see how different the two friends, Huck and Tom, are. Huck goes with the logical route while Tom likes to take a more dramatic one. In the beginning of the book Tom got his ideas for the gang from European novels; he seems to get a lot of ideas from texts, whereas Huck will base his actions off of what seems right or easy.
